Our Youth Work Services and Support for Young People in UK Schools and Prisons Include...
Kinetic delivers youth work services and support for young people in UK schools and prisons, providing trusted adults and safe environments through interactive activities and programmes. Kinetic workers support individuals to explore, learn, and grow, using dialogical interventions to increase engagement with education, training, work, peers, family, and professionals. Regular needs assessments ensure the services are adapted to neurodiversity and trauma, with equity, equality, diversity, inclusion, and belonging at the core of all delivery. Delivery can take the form of workshops, activities, and 121 work. Kinetic delivery clubs, focus groups and projects. All delivery is planned and evaluated with the individuals. • Supporting youth voice and influence facilitating youth/community councils • Facilitating youth clubs and social groups • Social action projects • Topic based programmes • Skill based activities and projects • Emotional education and capacity building Kinetic’s aim is to understand, identify and addressing barriers to engagement, working with individuals to reduce negative behaviour, increase positive behaviour and increase their engagement with regime, education/work, officers and professionals and specialist services. Kinetic’s Keys service offers youth work services and support for young people in UK schools, helping children and young people struggling to engage. Through placements, Kinetic workers act as trusted adults, creating safe spaces to foster positive behaviour and enhance formal education engagement. The service uses accreditation to measure the impact of increased engagement with education, peers, and professionals. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead ensures challenges outside school are managed in partnership with the school. Request more information
Teenage years can be challenging for both teenagers and their families. Adolescence is a complex process, where behaviour expectations mirror adult norms despite the brain still forming and the body changing. This can make it a challenging time as young people question who they are and what they want. Kinetic offers youth work services and support for young people in UK schools, with youth workers acting as trusted independent adults to support young people through this process. They help with learning, growth, self-understanding, self-esteem, and future planning. Families can pay for 121 sessions, either online or in person, once or twice a week. Youth workers are always vetted, trained, and experienced, working with young people on issues like anger, violence, self-confidence, gangs, families, isolation, mental health, and more. Kinetic has been supporting organisations, both large and small, local and national, to develop their knowledge and skills in youth work services and support for young people in UK schools and prisons. This enables these organisations to involve children and young people in the design, development, and delivery of services, helping them achieve the best possible outcomes. 20 YEARS IN THE GAME
Kinetic aligns all its youth work services and support with the National Youth Work Curriculum and maintains a workforce trained to National Occupational Standards for Youth Work. By offering a rights-based, youth-led approach, Kinetic places youth participation at the core of every service for young people in UK schools and prisons.

WHAT INSPECTORS SAY ABOUT US...
kinetic youth workers undertook useful one-to-one work with children, for example on Keppel they were helping a child who did not speak English as their first language to develop their understanding and use of English.

4.43 At the time of our inspection no children identified as gay, lesbian or bisexual. Support for children who did identify was provided individually. In the months before our inspection three children had recently identified as gay and specific groups had been arranged for them by Kinetic Youth
